New York Apple Pickin' 2009

A perfect day for picking apples in the fingerlakes region of New York State. Many varieties of ripe, red and golden apples were waiting to be harvested. You could eat all you wanted as you picked. The weather was warm and sunny, and we had a wonderful time..even the wee bairns enjoyed getting out in the fresh air.

Karate!!!

Karin tried to get Nicky to play soccer this year, but he loves to do everything his big bro' does, so like Jake, he is taking Karate this year. So far, so good.

Cindy and Walter come for a visit

Walter and Cindy have been our friends since we were their host family back in the early 1970's and they were students at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. It was so much fun to get together with them today. Walter surely kept us laughing...
